SUBMARINE CABLE
Our Production has a leading position in Subsea Production Umbilical (SPU) product development for a wide range of offshore oil & gas projects.
Our SPUs are designed to operate long-term in challenging and dynamic subsea environments. The products provide critical power, control and monitoring links, connecting multiple elements of an offshore oil & gas field SANG’s supplier designs incorporate conduits for hydraulic fluids, process chemicals or electrical cables that transmit power and enable communication across any gas or oil field.
The Submarine engineering team develops Subsea Power Cables with Flexibility in materials selection and configuration of manufacturing processes e.g., a range of polymer options. Three-phase AC systems with a voltage range of 1kV to 36kV Both ‘wet’ and ‘dry’ design types using either EPR or XLPE three-layer insulation systems A range of armouring options, from single to multi-layer Coilable and non-coilable designs. Assembly, qualification and testing in-house to avoid risk of commissioning delays Our multiple core cables can contain power phases, optical fibre steel tubes and high-pressure steel tubes for fluids to become what we denominate a power umbilical, or any combination of these elements.
